THAT the agenda for the Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting held on April 20, 2023 be approved as distributed.

THAT the minutes of the Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting held on March 16, 2023 be adopted, having been printed and distributed.

THAT the Correspondence - Information Items listed on the agenda for the Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting held on April 20, 2023 be received as information.

THAT the agenda submission dated April 14, 2023 from the Multi-Year Accessibility Plan (MYAP) Working Group regarding Workplan Update #1 be received as information; AND THAT the Accessibility Advisory Committee provides the following comments: • Check for replication/sharing of Ajax Plan page 10 (page 20 of today’s agenda) pictograph and breakdown of types of Accessibility & Barriers. • Note that June is Seniors month – there is the opening of Stack gallery – main floor of ORC – focus is Momentum – “movement in our lives through our ages” – artists will interpret that statement into art pieces – Age-friendly Orillia Advisory Committee. • Does the Committee need to revisit June 7 date so as not to conflict with the variety of events for Seniors or is it a good fit? • Are there other tools for gathering public feedback on City facilities and services (surveys, flipcharts, feedback options, etc.)?
